Steve Jobs – enriching lives

Steve Jobs’ passing overnight is rightly leading to an overwhelming response of tributes and comment.
By creating products to meet unconscious needs, Apple have repeatedly proven how technology can enrich lives and allow treasured moments to be easily captured and shared. Industries have been shaken up and new ones created.
ipod, iphone, ipad – brilliantly marketed, but ultimately effortlessly delivering functions that most wouldn’t have imagined possible even 10 years ago. Then there’s Pixar, the Jobs-created animation studio responsible for the Toy Story movies and the like.
The passion to provide such exceptional quality for customers inevitably led to the highest rewards and accolades for Jobs. As a fantastic leader and presenter, he deserved it all! Today’s sad news only emphasises how we should follow Jobs’ own mantra of “live every day like it’s your last!”.
The world has lost a great designer, technologist and leader on the same day, but his legacy will last generations!
